La taza deja de ser un objeto funcional para convertirse en una metáfora del ser humano: un recipiente que contiene emociones, recuerdos, historias y silencios. The cup ceases to be a functional object and becomes a metaphor for the human being: a vessel that holds emotions, memories, stories and silences.
Entre Tazas explora la relación entre los objetos cotidianos y la experiencia humana. A través de la representación de tazas, la obra investiga la identidad, la memoria, los vínculos afectivos, la presencia y la transformación personal. Entre Tazas explores the relationship between everyday objects and human experience. Through the depiction of cups, the work investigates identity, memory, emotional bonds, presence and personal transformation.
La serie surge de la observación de un gesto simple y universal: sentarse frente a una taza. En ese acto cotidiano se condensan encuentros, despedidas, celebraciones y momentos de introspección que dan forma a nuestra historia. The series arises from observing a simple, universal gesture: sitting before a cup. In that everyday act, encounters, farewells, celebrations and moments of introspection condense — and shape our story.

Artista visual colombiana con estudios en Artes Visuales de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Máster en Creatividad e Innovación Estratégica de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, y Posgrado en Arteterapia y Arte Comunitario de Metàfora, Barcelona. Colombian visual artist with a degree in Visual Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a Master's in Creativity and Strategic Innovation from Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and a postgraduate degree in Art Therapy and Community Art from Metàfora, Barcelona.
Su obra explora la condición humana desde una dimensión simbólica y emocional, utilizando objetos cotidianos como metáforas de la memoria, la identidad y los vínculos afectivos. Elementos recurrentes —las tazas, las sillas, las casas, fragmentos de la mujer— funcionan como símbolos de conversación, refugio, pertenencia y transformación. Her work explores the human condition from a symbolic and emotional dimension, using everyday objects as metaphors for memory, identity and emotional bonds. Recurring elements —cups, chairs, houses, fragments of the female figure— act as symbols of conversation, refuge, belonging and transformation.
Actualmente dirige The Art Pop-Up, plataforma que conecta artistas, coleccionistas y públicos a través de experiencias artísticas inmersivas. She currently directs The Art Pop-Up, a platform connecting artists, collectors and audiences through immersive art experiences.

La silueta negra opera como un desnudamiento: al eliminar el color y el detalle, queda la forma pura del objeto, su arquetipo. Y la esencia de una taza es su capacidad de contener. The black silhouette acts as a stripping-away: by removing color and detail, the pure form of the object remains — its archetype. And the essence of a cup is its capacity to contain.

Tres obras donde el objeto se vuelve cuerpo. Cada pieza sostiene un texto: una conversación entre la materia y la memoria.Three works where the object becomes body. Each piece holds a text: a conversation between matter and memory.

Sostiene incluso cuando ya no puede más. Con el cuerpo llevado al límite, con el silencio como lenguaje, con las manos ocupadas de lo que no puede caer.
Es refugio antes que sujeto. Es función antes que identidad. Es soporte antes que existencia.
Y aun cuando se quiebra por dentro, no suelta. Porque hay amores que no saben caer; porque lo que sostiene no es solo la vida: es un sistema entero.
She holds even when she can bear no more. With her body pushed to the limit, with silence as her language, with hands full of what must not fall.
She is refuge before subject. Function before identity. Support before existence.
And even when she breaks inside, she does not let go. For there are loves that do not know how to fall; for what she holds is not only life: it is an entire system.
II
Hay vínculos que no hacen ruido, pero sostienen la vida entera. La lealtad vive en quien se queda cuando todo se vuelve incómodo, en quien no te suelta cuando más fácil sería hacerlo.
Cada historia, cada silencio, cada verdad dicha va construyendo una estructura invisible, un lugar donde todo puede descansar.
No es perfección, es presencia. No es intensidad, es permanencia.
There are bonds that make no noise, yet hold up an entire life. Loyalty lives in those who stay when everything turns uncomfortable, in those who do not let go when it would be easier to.
Each story, each silence, each truth spoken builds an invisible structure — a place where everything can rest.
It is not perfection, it is presence. It is not intensity, it is permanence.
III
Hay partes de nosotros que nunca dejaron de ser pequeñas. Siguen ahí, quietas, mirando el mundo desde el mismo lugar donde algo dolió por primera vez.
Piden lo mismo: ser vistas, ser sostenidas, ser suficientes.
Y aunque intentemos seguir adelante, hay algo en nosotros que aún se queda atrás, esperando que, esta vez, alguien no se vaya.
There are parts of us that never stopped being small. They remain there, still, watching the world from the same place where something first hurt.
They ask for the same: to be seen, to be held, to be enough.
And though we try to move forward, something in us still stays behind, hoping that, this time, someone will not leave.
